The GroupForce User Portal gives users the unique facility to enter a
portal where all relevant tools in GroupForce are accessible to them.
Based on the user’s role within your organization, you can define the tools
available for that role, providing your users with one central place from
which to access the tools and information they need to do their job.
For users that have more than one role in the organization, with a single click
they can change the portal to display the information and tools required for
their alternate role(s).

Data Dictionary
The GroupForce Data Dictionary is the central configuration tool of GroupForce.
It is through this tool that you determine how GroupForce is going to work the

and customization of GroupForce.

The GroupForce Invoicing module provides a quick and efficient way to
generate invoices in your organization. Invoices can be generated ad-hoc
or related to existing quotation, project, expense items, or customer
information and printed to your pre-defined invoice layout.
GroupForce invoices handle all local and federal tax models and exchange rate
information, including variance in exchange rates from invoice date to
paid date.

Timesheets
GroupForce timesheets allows your employees and outside resources to

Timesheet entries can be submitted by direct entry into GroupForce, through a
mobile device, or via e-mail, where employees and outside resources can self
service and receive spreadsheet based time entry templates via e-mail, which
they can fill out, and simply e-mail back to GroupForce.
All entered time records are allocated towards internal or external
projects or time categories, and can go through defined approval cycles.

Absence Manager / Leave Requests
GroupForce Leave Requests provides users with the facility to see how
much leave they have accumulated and request leave from their managers.
Leave time can be accumulated in a variety of categories (vacation, sick days,
etc) at different rates.
When a leave request is submitted, it follows the
defined approval cycle for that employee and type of leave, and all relevant
parties are notified of the leave time. Accumulated and taken leave is
maintained in the employee’s central HR record.

through the Contact Management tool, and receive RSVP information directly

- Instant Messaging – Quickly “chat” with the GroupForce application to get to information fast
- Microsoft Outlook Client – As an alternative to the Lotus Notes client, a user can choose to use the Outlook client for contact management efforts. All information captured through Outlook is synchronized real-time to GroupForce.
- Mobile Devices – From Pocket PCs, Palm, Smart Phone, and Blackberry devices, GroupForce functionality is quickly available from the palm of your hand.
- Custom Applications – Through GroupForce’s API and web services, you can tie in GroupForce functionality to your existing applications.
